CHANGES TO STUDENT PARKING! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!

Starting May 1st the following changes to student parking will take effect:
  • Commuting Students and Residence students will be classified under the same category: STUDENT
  • Student permits can ONLY be purchased by the Semester/2 Semester. *UPDATED* STUDENT FALL SEMESTER PERMITS ARE SOLD OUT!
  • 2 Semester permits (Sept - Apr) can be purchased online or at the Parking Office.
  • Students have been assigned to the BLUE parking lots (P7, 13, 14/15, 17, 19, 30).

Definition of a "Student"

Parking Services definition of a "Student"  means any person registered in an undergraduate or graduate program proceeding towards a degree/diploma, or a certificate at the University of Guelph, or otherwise taking credit and/or non-credit courses offered by the University of Guelph.

NEW * Students living both on and off campus are required to have a BLUE parking permit to park on campus.

Students living in Family housing CAN NOT use their family housing permit to park on campus.

Students living in Grad houses are required to have a BLUE Parking permit to park at their grad house and on campus.

Monthly Student Permits - Now Virtual

Monthly Student Parking Passes

Monthly Student Parking Passes are now virtual and you will not be able to print them.  You may link up to 3 vehicles to your permit.  Only one vehicle may be parked on campus as at a time or you are at risk for being ticketed accordingly.

Student Winter Semester Permits

Student Winter Semester Permits also now available online and in the office! 

Student Parking Permits are valid in P7, P17, P13, P19 & P30 only.  Winter Restrictions are also now in effect!  Overnight parking is valid in P13, P17 & P19 except for the s/w corner.


We will be reviewing the parking situation on a daily basis to see if there is an opportunity to release more passes.
